What can I do?

If you only do one thing . . .

Object to the Planning Application to extend the runway

On 4th January 2008, Birmingham International Airport Limited submitted a Planning Application to Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council for permission to begin work on the Runway Extension and the additional developments required to support the operation of a longer runway.

We need as many local people and organisations as possible to write to Solihull Council formally objecting to the airport company's Planning Application and calling on the Council to refuse planning permission for the Runway Extension.

You can submit comments right up until the Planning Application is determined, so please get over to Solihull Council's website now (see links below) and make your voice heard.
